Homicide Suspect In Custody Update 06/20/2024 12:00 P.M.:

The Arkansas State Police, Morrilton Police Department and the Conway County Sheriff’s Office has Captured 50-Year-old Stacy Lee Drake. Also assisting was the Arkansas National Guard and the Arkansas Division of Community Correction. Police found Stacy in a wooded area just South of the Morrilton intersection of University Boulevard and Poor Farm Road around 11:00 A.M. Eastern Time. He was arrested without incident. Stacy Lee Drake was transported and is currently at the Conway County Detention Center.

Great job to the Law Enforcement Officers for quickly locating and capturing this suspect.

Update 06/19/2024 5:00 P.M.:

The Arkansas State Police provided an update on the multiple homicide suspect. Police advised Stacy Lee Drake had recently purchased camping gear and they have evidence that he is still in the Morrilton, Arkansas area.

They reiterated that if you observe Stacy Lee Drake, do not approach as he is considered armed and dangerous and call 911 immediately.

June 19,2024 Original Report: Homicide suspect on the run in Arkansas – Suspected in multiple different homicides

On June 19, 2024, The Arkansas State Police requested an immediate release of information to assist in locating and arresting a dangerous armed suspect who is has warrants out of Oklahoma and Alabama. 50-Year-old, Stacy Lee Drake is suspected of multiple homicides. Three of the homicides occurred in Oklahoma that was after two different car jackings. Stacy has several warrants including aggravated robbery, carjacking, and murder that are from several different police agencies.

Stacy Lee Drake is a white male with brown hair and eyes. Stacy is 185 pounds and is 5 foot and 11 inches tall. He was last known to live in the Birmingham, Alabama area. However, he was observed on foot outside a motel in Morrilton, Arkansas.

If you observe Stacy Lee Drake, do not approach as he is considered armed and dangerous. Call 911 immediately. The Arkansas State Police will be releasing additional information for us to provide to you at a later time.
