Around 8:00 P.M. today, unofficial reports advise there was a police chase, and foot pursuit in the Buxton area in the ATV trails. One suspect was taken into custody and law enforcement are continuing to search for a second suspect in the wooded area and ATV trails in Buxton, Maine. We are currently attempting to verify with the Sheriff of York County if the chase and arrest is from the Gorham Savings Bank robbery just before 2:00 P.M. earlier today. However, a law enforcement official in the area, who would like to remain unidentified, advised they have set up a perimeter and other officers are searched and arrested 1 of 2 suspects from the bank robbery. They do know the name of both suspects; however, the names will be released at a later time.
