School Aide Allegedly Assaults 9 Year Old With Autism in Connecticut
Darien police allege that a school aide from Bridgeport has assaulted a 9-year-old boy with autism back in April 2024.
He repeatedly assaulted the boy while on a special education bus that traveled from Stamford to Trumbull.
Juan Carlos Rodriguez was observed on the security camera biting the child’s back causing the child to scream in pain. The boy’s mother noticed the marks and then reported the incident to the police.
Police say they have found that there were several more incident of the suspect abusing this child.
Juan went to the Darien Police to turn himself in on his arrest warrant that was issued by the Stamford Superior Court.
Juan has been terminated from his job and is currently released on a $50,000 bond pending his July 5th Stamford Superior Court date.
