The York County Sheriff’s Department advised that Kyle Allman, the second suspect involved in two robberies one at the Gorham Savings Bank in Waterboro and the Main Street Variety store in Buxton, Maine is in custody as of 9:00 P.M. Thursday June 13, 2024.
At that time, detectives and deputies from the York County Sheriff’s Department and the Southern Manie Special Response Team, had executed a search warrant at a residence on George Connors Road in Hollis. Kyle Allman surrendered just before the response team approached the residence. Kyle was arrested for an arrest warrant out of the Buxton Police Department for a robbery at the Main Street Variety Store. Bail is set for $200,000 for Kyle and he is currently being held at the York County Jail.
Detectives advised evidence including the dirt bike, and other items linking Kyle to the robberies was taken into evidence.
Great job to the law enforcement personnel from several agencies including the York County Sheriff’s Office, Buxton Police Department, Maine State Police, Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office, Maine Warden Service, and the Southern Maine Special Response Team for the quick investigation, and apprehension of the suspects.
