Secret Service Should Learn from Private Security Officers

Recent two close assassination attempts are putting in perspective how badly the Secret Service currently is doing when it comes to protection details. Many private Security Officers are coming forward criticizing the excuses the Secret Service is providing for the reason for the recent failed attempts.

Greg Perndle is retired from being a Security Officer at an Ohio factory which had higher security due to providing a product to the federal government. When the Secret Service provided the excuse that they didn’t have time to check to perimeter, Greg said “When we had tours or other events, it was always simple to do a quick perimeter check by simply driving and going on foot around it. We continued to do a simple perimeter check until the event was over. At the time I was in Security, we didn’t have all the equipment that is provided today, and we were able to maintain high security for products so a protection of persons, especially for a current high-profile candidate, should have high security. The Secret Service has drones with capabilities of finding heat sources in landscape, so they have no excuse of why they didn’t simply deploy that along with a vehicle to continue a perimeter search.” Additional Security Officers agree with Greg stating that it is suspicious that the suspect was sitting in the bushes with a rifle for about 12 hours before being spotted.

Many questions remain as to why the suspect wasn’t spotted hours ahead of time. It is strange that not a single Secret Service or local Police Officer or Deputy did not observe a suspicious vehicle that the alleged suspect, Ryan Routh had left sat near the gold course for over 12 hours.

It is also strange, and the question remains as to why the suspect was ready hours ahead of time when former President Donald Trump was on an official schedule to be there that day, yet the suspect was ready.

The Rhetoric of people against President Donald Trump is causing the uprising in assassination attempts. Take a look at the violet comments made by people of the left with a video courtesy of Real America’s Voice.

The Secret Service is victim blaming President Donald Trump by saying the following about the trip to the golf course “it was an off the record movement, meaning it was not on the former president’s official schedule” and further stating that is why they did not do proper perimeter checks.

That thinking is ridiculous and a cop out as most of those in the Security business knows it is always vital to check and to continue to check a perimeter whether you have hours’ notice or less than an hour’s notice. It is never right to blame the victim for something a crazy suspect attempts or is successful at completing.

The Secret Service has not responded to questions about how they plan to get themselves better.

Most Secret Service Agents in the field are great, such as the heroic agent that spotted the rifle in the brush and then opened fire causing the suspect the flee. However, the lack of support from the higher ups is causing the entire agency to score badly in the public option worldwide.
